I get asked the question many times: “If I start running, will I quickly lose weight?” About quickly - you know my position. As for losing weight, running will definitely help you lose weight.
BUT!
Before you put on your running shoes and start to "drown gas", you need to understand how it works. Firstly, there is no need to rush anywhere, you are not in a competition, no one is chasing you. Start quietly, calmly, with a walk that will smoothly turn into a quick step, and eventually into a slow run. Do not fight off your desire already at the beginning. But more on that later…

During the run (and after it) the active process of LIPOLYSIS starts, that is, the splitting of fat cells. Under conditions of cardio load, the body begins to spend its “rainy day reserves”, but it does not do this right away! The first 40 minutes of running, our body runs on CARBOHYDRATES (for example, glycogen is a complex carbohydrate that is stored in liver and muscle cells). And only AFTER there is a transition to the fat burning stage.

It’s definitely worth starting to run, but such a workout should last at least 50 minutes, or even longer. I think I don’t need to explain that 50min (and even 30min) at the beginning can’t be run. Do not worry, everything takes time!...
